ISLAND MARINE 0

ON A lovely day at the Sports Centre the Knap knew a win would bring them close to the leading pack in Division Two so they started brightly, creating chance after chance.

A fortuitous goal from Gibbo started the ball rolling and Jacko started his goal scoring spree with his first.

Going in half time 2-0 down, the Island started to play a bit with the keeper making a fine save, but then Jacko picked up where he left off, scoring two more to complete a quietly assured hat-trick, and take his tally to 35 for the season.

With the game won Knap made a few changes. The back five all had a really good game and the midfield of Brett, Screwy, Dafydd and Russ Statue were all doing their jobs, while Rat and Teabag worked hard.

Many congratulations to Twinnie and Mo on their new arrival.
