MASONS Moving Group seconds came up against Barry Rovers at Seven Avenue with only a point separating the two teams. With players injured and away player manager Lee Galsworthy had to call in two first team players to help fill the bench. The game started with both teams testing each other out and after five minutes it was obvious this was going to be a physical game. With crunching tackles from both teams.

IN this week's games, the Billy Ghosts maintained their position at the top of the league with another convincing win at home to the Loungers. Mark Driscoll hit a 180 in their 18-3 win. Mariners 66 moved into second place with a very convincing 17-4 away win against the Tynewydd Inn.

BARRY Romilly Bowling Club recently held their presentation night at B P Market Street on Saturday. During the evening trophies were given to winners and an incredible cheque was presented to Rebecca Parkes, the funding manager for Macmillan Nurses.

IN previous years winners of the Ladies and Men’s Club Competitions have received their awards on the finals day without many members being there, as a result a decision was made early in the season to hold a separate presentation night where all club members would have the opportunity to attend and competition winners would receive their trophy’s on a special night in front of their peers.
