THE Vale of Glamorgan mini football league kicked off on Saturday, with a record number of teams.
This season sees improved pitch facilities throughout the Vale, and will now see fixtures contested every week.
The league's administrators would like to thank clubs such as Cowbridge Town FC, Cogan FC and Inter Penarth FC for providing 3G pitches, as well as Stanwell Comprehensive, St Cyres Comprehensive and Cowbridge Comprehensive for using astro-turf pitches. Vale of Glamorgan Council have also provided a new 3G pitch at Barry Sports.
They would also like to thank all of the coordinators, coaches and parents for their unseen work in ensuring that Vale children have every opportunity to play.
