BARRY Athletic Football Club have made a promising start to the 2016/17 season.

The men's Premier League team, coached by David Govier, have had two wins against Masons FC and Dinas Powis Athletic and drawn against Rhoose.

The pick of the 13 goals scored so far have been from Teejay Caton. Caton received the ball in his own half, danced through three Masons FC players and calmly tucked the ball into the bottom corner of the goal.

The Division 1 team, coached by Jeff Howells, have beaten Cadoxton Athletic, Dockers Reunited and Barry Belgrade in their first three outings following promotion from Division 2.
