SULLY Bowling Club are back to their winning ways after beating Penyrheol, a strong side who were in the first division last year.
Before the Saturday match, Sully travelled to Llantwit Major and started the match late due to traffic problems. Having got off to a bad start, the rest of the evening went downhill.
Sully lost on all rinks for a final score of 75-37 to the opposition.
After a disappointing loss on Wednesday, June 29, Sully were then set to meet their opponents Penyrheol.
At 15 ends they were up on three rinks by 22 but it went down to the last few bowls where they hung on to win by two.
