RHOOSE Lifeguard Club will compete in the European Interclub Life Saving Championship this August.
The Championships take place every two years and for the first time are heading to Wales.
Rhoose will compete in the second week of competitions where they will face over 57 other UK clubs.
The second week of competitions run from August 9-15 at the Wales National Pool Swansea and Aberavon Beach, Port Talbot.
Organised by Surf Life Saving GB and Surf Life Saving Associate of Wales with support from Swansea University, Wales National Pool Swansea, Neath Port Talbot Council and the Welsh Government, the European Life Saving Championships offer a fantastic spectacle and members of the public are encouraged to come along and support the competitors and to find out more about how they could get involved in the sport. The event is free of charge for spectators.
