AT Brynhill Golf Club a number of games were played including the George Williams, the Howell Hughes and the Chief Buck Rabbit.
Joey Brookman took the victory against Phillip Lloyd in the George Williams, Daniel Williams won against Ody Nicolaou in the Howell Hughes and Bradley Dodd came first against Gregory Mills in the Chief Buck Rabbit.
All games were played in great spirit and a good day was had by all.
Scott Bowman and first team captain Wayne Adams contested the club championship final which was played in a good spirit with both players having their moments. Match referee club captain John Giles didn’t have too many problems to contend with.
Scott finished the front nine holes four up and went eight up by the sixth hole on the second half, but Wayne wasn’t going to lie down and fought back to eventually lose a commendable four and three. A good game and everybody who watched enjoyed it.
Richard Bond and Richard Pierce played the other final the Ernest Williams, both players played a good game, match referee Rhys Jones the club vice captain stated after the game how the golf was of a very high standard. Richard Bond eventually being the winner with a score of three and two.
