THE RNLI Barry Fundraising Branch will be undertaking its house-to-house collections in Barry and Rhoose from April 21, to May 3.
These collections are necessary to keep the lifeboats on continuous call, 365 days a year, 24 hours per day.
The RNLI is a registered charity, which exists to save lives at sea.
It receives no funding from the Government and relies on voluntary contributions.
This year it will cost around £125 million a year to run the lifeboat service.
We need your support, not only with your donations but with help with fundraising, so if you can spare time to help us then please contact me on 01446 734888.
Jennie Williams.
RNLI Barry Fundraising Branch Honorary Secretary
