THIS letter is in response to the request for thoughts on the use of the land at Cemetery Approach.
Although I live away from Barry, I visit the cemetery to tend to my mother's grave.
I would like one side of the road to be used for green burials with trees and benches.
The allotments side of the road has splendid views over the Bristol Channel if the land was opened up for the general public.
Winding paths, green areas and seats would complement the open space.
A garden of remembrance for quiet reflection would also be good.
Schemes could be prepared by the council.
