I AM writing on behalf of the Marie Curie Hospice to thank everyone in Barry for their support of the Marie Curie Cancer Care Great Daffodil Appeal, through the street collections held between Saturday, February 23, and Saturday March 1.
Your support has raised an amazing £2,360.30 to support the Marie Curie Hospice, Penarth, which provides specialist care to people with a terminal illness and emotional support to their families, at no cost to the patient.
Particular thanks to Cowbridge Rotary who raised a fantastic £1,500 on St Davids Day and also the Air Training Cadets and Lions clubs who collected in Barry and Llantwit Major.
