I DIDN’T think I would feel so personally devastated at the Brexit result that has left a nation divided and cast adrift with, worryingly, no future plan.

In delivering the referendum to thwart Ukip and appease the party’s right, it seems that David Cameron has earned the unique distinction of being the worst PM we have ever had.

In a single act he has created such a disaster for Britain that will have long lasting repercussions right across the globe.

Less than an hour after the result was announced, Nigel Farage was asked if that money would now go to the NHS and his reply was “no”.

Now Britain is to leave the EU, many people, politicians and pundits will be wondering just how it happened.

I agree that the EU needs to change but I think we are definitely out of the frying pan, into the fire after Brexit.

I fear that personal losses will spread far and wide while the rich will survive, no matter what, while the poor and working classes will be hit hard.

The vote to leave has not only ruined this country but divided it.

Now Old Etonian Cameron will walk away from this mess for future generations to pick up.

Thank you very much David Cameron.
