AFTER reading the feature about parking on Barry Island – Tenby got the right idea with a park and ride system. So why can’t Barry Island have the same facility?
Park the car up on waste ground and have a free bus into the Island. So easy and everyone can be safe.
It was total chaos trying to get into Barry Island on Sunday as the Harbour Road has this on-going traffic delay with temporary lights.
The council have been on this part of the road for weeks, what we need is that second crossing from the Waterfront. Most of this new road is in place but they have stopped working on the final 200 metres and according to Alun Cairns the road won’t be open until August.
Sorry it’s a poor show.
