LIKE everyone else in the Vale I just had my council tax demand for 2015/2016 and it's gone up, what a surprise - not.
After the Vale of Glamorgan announced that visual services have cuts, like no more providing green bags for food waste, that there will be a charge for picking up large domestic items, also closures of recycling areas.
We Barrians don't feel that we get value for money for our council tax, so where is it being spent? Not on leisure facilities, we lost all government services to Cardiff, but then again we are becoming just a borough of Cardiff and it's a bit sad seeing that we are the biggest town in Wales.
