I FEEL I must write to thank the wonderful staff of the NHS. On February 9 I was taken ill in my house around 3.30pm, my wife phoned the emergency service for an ambulance and within a few minutes my house was full of medical people.
After checking me over, they told me that I had a mini stroke and needed to go to hospital urgently. I arrived at the Heath Hospital to be met by a team of medical staff who took great care of me, I was told that I needed to be admitted where I stayed for six days.
I underwent surgery for a blocked main artery on the left side of my neck which caused this mini stroke.
I can’t thank these wonderful staff at this great hospital enough for the care and attention which I received during my stay in hospital. Once again a big thank you to you all.
