I HAVE just received a letter from my council asking for nominations for the Queen's New Years honours list for 2016.
I now feel that it is time instead of those who have political connections or for those who, such as civil servants, get paid for helping the community or country, that we now have unsung heroes instead.
There are many people out there who do not get recognised for their achievements and deserve it. People like those who volunteer such as the RNLI, the Food banks, charity volunteers, school governors and so on deserve to be truly recognised. So do you have any suggestions?
