WE JOINED the crowds last week to go to the wonderful Vale Show.
Taking our granddaughter Chloe (age nine) we arrived at 10.30am and left at 6.50 and even then did not get around all the stands.
Our granddaughter had so much fun, taking part in quizzes and face painting being given goody bags, sweets and chocolates etc.
She tried various arts and crafts, tried her hand at milking a mock cow, and much more and thoroughly enjoyed herself.
The livestock display was first class and all the animals seemed happy and well cared for. And there was so much for the adults in the same vein in terms of samples.
We had the odd shower but the weather was fine most of the time and there was plenty of places to shelter and stay under cover.
I look forward to going next year and would like to thank the organisers and participants for such a great day - should it be more than one day?
