I HAVE enjoyed a lovely Sunday afternoon at Porthkerry Country Park with my wife, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.
The only blight on the day was the length of the grass on the main park and the uncut verges, although there are signs up to be aware of adders.
We did unfortunately come across a Rover number two amongst the long grass we were playing football in.
Come on council, give the most lovely park in the area a makeover and cut to the chase.
