I BELIEVE the NHS in Wales should have more praise and less criticism.
Some six weeks ago I dialled 999 when my husband was taken ill with a lung and heart complaint and was unable to breathe. Within six minutes a medic arrived followed by an ambulance. My husband was given immediate attention and we were both taken to the Heath Hospital where we were treated with kindness and compassion.
My husband received wonderful medical treatment and thanks to the doctors and nurses of the NHS survived. He was made very comfortable at all times and operated on that week.
We have great admiration for the ambulance men and women and everyone in the medical profession for their skill, dedication, hard work and kindness under very difficult conditions.
We thank the Heath Hospital and Llandough Hospital for all their care and dedication - so please give them more praise they deserve it.
