ON behalf of Barry Town Council I would like to thank the schools who participated in the recent Barry Town Council's Schools Christmas Concert at the Memorial Hall.
Eleven Barry schools took part and we were all treated to a fantastic evening of entertainment; the Christmas songs certainly got us all in the Christmas mood and we have a tremendous talent amongst the pupils of the town.
I would also like to pass on my thanks to the teachers who took so much time and effort to get their performers ready for the evening and the hours of practice showed in the excellent standard on the night.
This concert is now an annual event in the Barry Town Council's calendar and we hope that this year's schools will return to take part again next year and that more schools will want to be a part of this showcase of Barry talent.
