THE Barry Town centenary evening was quite simply unforgettable.
An absolutely stunning night with great entertainment from Gavin Chesterfield and Ray Wilkins, who were completely at ease with each other in their question and answer session.
Also the very affable former Barry manager Garry Barnet reliving our experiences with him and the incredible success that we had that has yet to be bettered in Welsh domestic football. Well done to all at BTSC for getting all those Barry Town legends, going back decades, there as well. Finally, last but certainly not least, a special mention for a lovely young woman, manager Gavin’s wife Hannah, who has worked tirelessly to ensure the evening became as I said unforgettable. With Gav, her, and the players and coaching staff Cossie, Damon etc, we now have at the BTSC our own legends in the making. I know I’m not alone in these sentiments and we are very lucky to have them all at Barry Town in our centenary year and hopefully into the future.
