IN ONLY two weeks time, the Marie Curie Hospice Cardiff and the Vale (in Penarth) will be holding the annual Lights to Remember ceremony to celebrate the lives of loved ones who are no longer with us at Christmas.
The event takes place on Thursday, December 6, at 6pm in the Hospice gardens, where Welsh singer Bruce Anderson will be entertaining the crowd with some festive songs, as well as a reading from our Hospice chaplain. Afterwards there will be mulled wine and mince pies served in the garden so please wrap up warm.
Those who choose to sponsor a light can do so by sending a donation to the hospice fundraising team or by calling 029 2042 6068. You will then be able to write a dedication to your loved one which will be displayed until twelfth night.
As in past years we would be very grateful for any donations of red wine to help us make our mulled wine. Please bring any donated bottles along to the fundraising office at the hospice. Thank you in advance for your kind generosity.
