NEXT Saturday, April 21, at Coffee Cove in Barry Island, Vale Blues, Jazz and Roots present Omega 2.
The acoustic duo will be performing classic timeless songs made famous by the likes of Etta James, Billie Holiday and Willie Nelson, with some Motown classics thrown in, creating a relaxed atmosphere that will leave you wanting more.
The duo, based in Cardiff, are Jane Williams on vocals and Pete Mathison on vocals and guitar.
Jane has been singing from an early age and has a wealth of experience performing on radio, television and theatre. She has performed with many bands, such as Jack the Biscuit and the Outasites.
Pete also has a wealth of experience, including playing at the Whitehouse. He has toured with Ray Davies of the Kinks after playing on his Storyteller CD. Pete is at home in a wide variety of styles, playing with rock, jazz and blues bands.
The show starts at 7.30pm at Coffee Cove, Esplanade Buildings, Barry Island. Entry £3.
