BARRY Island cafe owners have appealed for help in tracing a missing ‘E’ after one of their regulars noticed it had disappeared.
Carl Windels and Graham Williams, co-owners of John’s Cafe, Friars Road, are hoping the public can turn detective and re-unite the Caf with its missing letter.
Carl said: “One of our customers noticed it was missing in the bad weather last Thursday.
“We would like to think it was the weather that took it away rather than an individual.
“We would like to thank all our customers and friends who are scouting around on Barry Island for an E and keeping us informed.
Any information leading to it being found would be really appreciated.
“We are reopening on Boxing Day when we hope we shall put the ‘E’ back into café."
