THE demolition of Ysgol Maes Dyfan is due to start early next month, and is expected to last until March when it is expected that the land will be used for housing.
Pupils from the all ages special school are moving to the Penarth Learning Community at St Cyres school, Penarth, this month and the building will be unoccupied by the end of October.
The site has been marketed by the Vale of Glamorgan council who in negotiations with a preferred housing developer.
Independent Councillor Richard Bertin has asked that all residents’ are kept up to date with developments.
