A FREE holiday camp will be held this October half term for children aged between 7 and 13 years.
The Vale Council led Barry Communities First will host the camp which will involve arts and crafts, music workshops run by Raw Rock Academy and a trip to the Wales Millennium Centre to watch Captain Flynn and the Pirates plus a backstage tour.
The camp will run on Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29, from 10am until 2pm and on Thursday 30 at 10am until 4.15pm.
In order to be eligible for this camp, children must live in the Barry Communities First area or attend a Communities First School which includes Oak Field Primary, Ysgol Gwaun Y Nant, Palmerston Primary, Colcot Primary, Jenner Park Primary, Cadoxton Primary, Gladstone Primary, Holton Road Primary, Bryn Hafren Comprehensive and Barry Comprehensive.
Children must bring their own packed lunch and additional refreshments will be provided.
