PUPILS at a Barry primary school began the road to becoming master chefs when they visited a Toby Carvery recently.
Year One Jenner Park youngsters met the team who presented them with their own chef hats and devised games to help them learn about fruit and vegetables including a bag of fruit and vegetables that they hadn’t tried before.
The children also went behind the scenes into the kitchen where they saw where the food was prepared, cooked and stored.
Teachers had a go at carving the meat in the carvery station before a cooked dinner was served.
