A BARRY teenager who is already becoming a stage veteran will step into the spotlight once more, aiming to hit the right note for singing success!

Fifteen-year-old Jessica Chick hopes to wow judges when she competes against other talented artists in the Regional Final showcase of Live and Unsigned 2012, in a bid to reach the Grand Final at The O2 in London in July.

Jessica, a pupil at Stanwell School in Penarth, won through to the contest after secretly auditioning this month, having already impressed top music producer Stuart Epps.

The regional event takes place at The Coal Exchange, Mount Stuart Square, Cardiff, on Sunday, March 18.

Superstars In The Making student Jessica could, if successful, be in with a chance of winning £100,000 – or bagging the opportunity to perform at some of the UK's biggest festivals Events director Chris Grayston said: "Live and Unsigned is all about originality, live ability and credibility.

"We don’t accept demos or submissions and everyone auditions live."
