REGARDING your article (April 11) about the Knap Pool. Seapoint (35 flats) and Sealawns (15 flats) directly overlook the pool and the sea and have done so since the late sixties and early seventies respectively.
We have been in correspondence with various councillors and council officials, as well as the local MP, the local AM and the Knap Community Action Group, regarding the future of the Knap pool.
Despite council assurances that no decision has been taken as such, the council seem in essence to be saying they have no alternative but to sell the pool site off for the building of flats and seem already to have made up their minds.
Brendan MacCarthy, for and behalf of Seapoint (Barry) Management Company Limited and Knapside Management Co Limited (Sealawns).
