A SPECIAL light gathering will take place near a Christmas friendship tree in a garden and lake in Barry next weekend.
The Peace, Love and Light gathering will take place at the Knap Lake and Gardens on Sunday, December 10, at 3pm.
Art4U will be lighting up the park and singing Christmas carols. They will be joined by Porthkerry Community Choir and singer-songwriters Bettie J. Williams and David Swallow.
There will also be a chance to add a message at the Tree of Peace and Friendship, and join in the lantern parade.
The event will mark the 75th anniversary of the International Declaration of Human Rights. The focus of Peace, Love and Light is a universal message of hope for a present and future guided by an egalitarian, compassionate and understanding community.
Its free entry to the event, with donations encouraged.
