VALE of Glamorgan's MS has visited Barry's 'Tiny Forest'.
Jane Hutt MS visited the Tiny Forest in Pencoedtre with Barry Action for Nature volunteer Paul Sedgmond and Keep Wales Tidy’s Pam Bacon.
The forest is part of a larger network of Tiny Forests across Wales allowing people to be closer to nature and supporting our environment.
Ms Hutt said: "It's so exciting to see how well Wales' first 'Tiny Forest' has grown over the past two years thanks to volunteers, Woodland Trust, Earthwatch, Keep Wales Tidy and Welsh Government funding making a big impact on biodiversity and wellbeing."
Around 1,000 trees were planted at the site when the scheme was launched in 2021.
