POLICE in Barry carried out a warrant on an address in the Court area of the town as a result of intelligence gathered by local police officers.
The raid on the property involved dogs specially trained to find drugs, CID officers and Neighbourhood Police officers.
PC Richard Haines, who led the operation said: "Acting upon intelligence we served a warrant on an address in Barry where a 33-year-old man was arrested and subsequently cautioned for possession of a controlled substance (cannabis resin).
"We will continue to serve warrants such as this whenever intelligence reports provide us with sufficient information.
"The possession of controlled drugs in our community will not be tolerated."
