SEVEN speeding Barry drivers have appeared in court recently.

Claire Louise McCartney, 39, of Ceri Avenue, Rhoose, was found guilty of speeding by Cardiff Magistrates Court on April 29.

She was caught on October 22 doing 36mph on A473 Cowbridge Road, where the limit is 30mph. She was fined £220 and given three points on her licence. She also had to pay a £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Anthony Michael Keane, 28, of Llantwit Road, St Athan, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on May 5.

He was caught on November 6 doing 43mph on North Road, where the limit is 30mph. He was fined £333 and given four points on his licence. He also had to pay a £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Adrian Keith Seymour, 37, of Stratford Green, Barry, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on April 27.

He was caught on October 23 doing 57mph on Fabian Way in Swansea, where the limit is 40mph. He was fined £666 and given four points on his licence. He also had to pay a £66 surcharge and £90 costs.

Hector Houston, 54, of Torbay Terrace, Rhoose, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on April 27.

He was caught on October 17 doing 46mph on A4119 junction with School Road, where the limit is 40mph. He was fined £93 and given three points on his licence. He also had to pay a £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Luke Barrie Booker, 29, of Andover Close, Barry, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on May 3.

He was caught on January 21 doing 59mph on A4161 Newport Road junction with Colchester Avenue, where the limit is 30mph. He was fined £297 and given six points on his licence. He also had to pay a £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Stephen Aubrey John, 60, of Lon Lindys, Rhoose, admitted speeding to Cardiff Magistrates Court on April 27.

He was caught on February 27 doing 50mph on Llantwit Road, where the limit is 30mph. He was fined £80 and given six points on his licence. He also had to pay a £34 surcharge and £90 costs.

Jennifer Moyes, 31, of Railway Road, Rhoose, admitted speeding at Cardiff Magistrates Court on April 28.

She was caught on October 28 doing 35mph on unnamed road between School Fferm Goch, Llangan, where the limit is 30mph. She was fined £100 and given three points on her licence. She also had to pay a £34 surcharge and £90 costs.
