A BARRY-BASED charity serving those with early onset dementia, and their families, is set to benefit from some ‘Stella’ items going under the hammer.

Writer and actor, Ruth Jones and the Tidy Productions team, have donated items from Sky comedy-drama Stella for an upcoming auction with some of the proceeds going to Ty Hapus, in Holton Road, Barry.

The key props sale will also benefit two other charities – Tenovus cancer care and Heronbridge school – when bidders compete with each other at Cardiff City Auctions.

The lots, which include Stella’s yellow car, can be viewed from 9am to 2pm, before being auctioned from 2pm on Saturday, August 12.

Ty Hapus/Alzheimer’s Society - South East Wales, day support manager, Ellin Jones said: “We were thrilled to hear that Tidy productions have named Ty Hapus as a one of the three charities they wish to benefit from the sale of some of the key props from the hit TV show, Stella.

“We are incredibly grateful to Ruth Jones and the team.”
