THE Beats, Eats and Treats festival is returning to Barry Island.
It attracted more than 5,000 people last summer and will return on Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25.
The free event features cooking demonstrations from award-winning local chefs as well as a range of street food stalls, a farmers market and a variety of entertainment for the whole family.
The programme is still being finalised but the Vale council will be announcing more information each week starting from Saturday, May 13.
A council spokesman said: “Last year’s Beats, Eats and Treats festival was a huge success and we’ve been working hard to make this year’s even bigger and better. There will be more demonstrations, a wider range of stalls, and a new layout taking in the award-winning promenade gardens that will allow even more people to take in the culinary delights on offer.”
The festival will also feature stalls from twin towns, Fécamp, Mouscron and Rheinfelden.
