THE following cases were heard at Cardiff and Vale Magistrates’ Court sitting at Cardiff:

Jamie Michael Moyle, 42, of Court Road, Barry, pleaded guilty to drug driving. He was fined £130 and banned from driving for 12 months. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.

Rhys Thomas Reynolds, 25, of Powis View, Barry, pleaded guilty to taking a vehicle without consent, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving without insurance during the period of a community order. A community order was made requiring 100 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. He was banned from driving for six months and ordered to pay an £85 surcharge.

Ian Christopher Vananda, 45 of Avon, Barry, pleaded guilty to drunk and disorderly behaviour. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.

Lukasz Kubik, 32, of Treharne Road, Barry, pleaded guilty to drink driving and driving without insurance. He was fined £200 and banned from driving for 18 months. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.

Martin Lee Gunner Searle, 41, of Barry Road, Barry, pleaded guilty to stealing a pedal cycle and failing to surrender to court. He was sent to prison for a total of 16 weeks and ordered to pay £239 compensation and a £115 surcharge.

Vincent Charles Cutjar, 56, of Pontalun Close, Barry, pleaded guilty to drunk and disorderly behaviour during the period of a conditional discharge. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.
