The following cases were heard at Cardiff and Vale Magistrates' Court sitting at Cardiff:

Daniel Harling, aged 30, of Heol y Porthladd, Barry, pleaded guilty to drink driving. He was fined £300 and banned from driving for 36 months. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.

Dean James Hatter, aged 25, of Treharne Road, Barry, pleaded guilty to stealing meat and alcohol. He was fined £40 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.

Curtis Timothy Kirby, aged 26, of Holton Road, Barry, pleaded guilty to one count of assault and one count of stalking. He was sentenced to a total of six weeks imprisonment suspended for two years. A restraining order was made and he was ordered to pay £200 compensation. He was ordered to pay £100 costs and a £115 surcharge.

Callum Blackley, aged 19, of Holton Road, Barry, pleaded guilty to assault. A community order was made and he was ordered to pay £200 compensation.

Joshua Campbell-Jenkins, aged 19, of Heritage Drive, Barry, pleaded guilty to damaging a window. He was fined £90 and ordered to pay £240 compensation. He was ordered to pay £620 costs and a £30 surcharge.
