THE Age Connects Cardiff and Vale Senior Health Shop will host an information session and meditation class on Thursday, March 9.

Carers Trust Wales, on behalf of the Vale of Glamorgan, are undertaking a range of consultation exercises across the Vale to identify the value and purpose of unpaid carers.

They are looking at identifying the value and purpose of Carers Forum and how to overcome any barriers to engagement.

Carers Trust Wales are keen to meet with established groups of carers during February and March.

If your group is interested in being part of the consultation or would like further information please contact Denise Dyer, engagement officer, Carers Trust South East Wales on 07712 674398.

A meeting will be held at the Senior Health Shop from 10am until noon, if you would like to fill in a confidential survey.

On the same day, will be an over-60s relaxation and mindful and meditation class from 3.15pm to 4.15pm.

The class will provide relief from pain, anxiety, sleep disorders and many other conditions.

Meditation is proven to reduce blood pressure and increase happiness.

Join Natalie who is an experienced meditation teacher for easy to learn techniques.

Cost is £3.50.

Other classes will run at The Gathering Place, St Athan on Monday mornings from 9.30am to 11.15am.
