Ysgol Bro Morgannwg pupils prepare for a Nicaragua adventure
A WORLD challenge training weekend has enabled a group of secondary school pupils to prepare for a trek to Nicaragua next year.
The Ysgol Bro Morgannwg year 12 and 13 pupils will trek, complete a community project and have some days to relax and enjoy the culture of the Central America country.
The Barry-based Welsh-medium school pupils familiarised themselves with the necessary kit, completed various group tasks, received nutritional, climatic and health and safety information during their weekend at the Forest of Dean.
