A BARRY DJ got more than he bargained for when some festival dancers engaged in a pre-Strictly Come Dancing audition under a marquee.
Barrybados creator and GlastonBARRY disc spinner Louis Ross began blasting out the tunes and some concert-goers began displaying their expert break dancing, piggy back, and twerking moves.
Onlookers captured the action on video as the dance-off unfolded largely out of sight of the man causing the stir.
Mr Ross said: “I could see the crowd were really up for dancing after Legend – a Bob Marley tribute. I played one or two songs, then I went into Salt ‘n’ Peppa – Push It.
“I could see mini circles breaking out with small dance-offs. I then went into Run DMC It’s Tricky and then It’s Like That.
“I couldn’t really see what was going on at the time as it was further back in the marquee. I could only hear crowd noises and people jumping up and down. It looked amazing. After I played House of Pain the whole tent just went crazy, jumping with their hands in the air.”
He added: “I discovered loads of videos late that night and the next day on social media. There was even someone doing back flips.
“Matt and Ross of Mack Events took it to a whole new level this year. They always put on an amazing event for Barry. The whole weekend was an incredible showcase. I’d just like to thank them for letting me DJ each year at GlastonBARRY.
“This was one of the greatest moments I’ve ever witnessed whilst DJ-ing.”
