The following cases were heard at Cardiff and Vale Magistrates' Court, sitting at Cardiff.

Holly Jennet Phillips, aged 24, of Heol Gwendoline, Barry pleaded guilty to stealing clothing worth £12 from Primark. She was fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.

Ryan Joseph Morgan, aged 29, of Hilda Street, Barry pleaded guilty to a charge of assault and a charge of actual bodily harm. He was banned from entering Legends public house, Cardiff for three months and was ordered to pay £85 costs and a 360 surcharge.

Nathan Cummins, aged 41, of Marloes Close, Barry pleaded guilty to sending offensive messages via a communications network, text messages and voicemails. He was given a 12 week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, was made the subject of a restraining order and was ordered to pay £85 costs and an £80 surcharge.

Amy Jane Liddiard, aged 31, of Benecrofte, Rhoose pleaded guilty to possessing a quantity of cocaine. She was fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge.

Billy Yeoman, aged 18, of Newlands Street, Barry pleaded guilty to assault and a charge of criminal damage. He was made the subject of a community order and was ordered to pay £85 costs and an £85 surcharge.
