LEARNERS at Palmerston Community Learning centre were celebrating this week after successfully completing accredited courses at the centre.
The learners have been attending a range of Adult Education Courses with additional learning support at various Adult and Community Learning venues across the Vale. Courses included art and craft, communication, computers, pottery and music and dance.
At a special presentation the learners were presented with certificates for completing their accreditation by Phil Southard, Adult and Community Learning manager. The learners happily posed for photographs proudly displaying their certificates before enjoying some tea and cakes and mingling with the invited guests.
On display at the centre was an exhibition of the learners art work. This included paper collage, self portraits, still life paintings in watercolour and a huge 3D Mural of Summer Flowers.
