CCTV monitoring in Barry led to seven arrests last week.
The Vale of Glamorgan Council's CCTV team contacted police a total of 47 times during the week ending Sunday, May 10.
On May 6, one person was arrested on Barry Waterfront for theft.
On May 7, one person was arrested on Holton Road for theft, and one person was arrested on Bell Street for being drunk in charge of a vehicle.
Four arrests were made on Barry Waterfront on May 10 for possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.
All crimes are alleged at the time of incident.
The Vale of Glamorgan’s CCTV operation is part of the Safer Vale Partnership, which comprises of representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
