WELSH Government-funded courses are being made available in the Vale to support eligible individuals wanting to return to employment, training or further education.
Free courses include a five-week Excel Level 1 course at the Palmerston Centre, Barry, from 9.30am to 11.30am on Fridays and a 10-week course in Excel for the Workplace Level 2 from 1pm to 3pm also on Fridays.
A five-week Grow Your Own Vegetables course runs at the Palmerston Centre from 1pm to 3pm on Mondays.
Computer skills workshops will take place at Cowbridge, Llantwit Major, Barry, Penarth and St Athan at various times on various days.
Those eligible to enrol on these courses include those who are not currently in education, training or employment and are in receipt of state benefits or support, excluding state retirement pension.
Also qualifying are those looking for work or seeking better employment opportunities.
