THE Methodist church in Barry has announced all its services and events during Holy Week and Easter this year.

A children’s ‘Frozen’ activity with an Easter theme will be held for children, aged five to 11, at Crossway Methodist Church, from 10.30am to noon, on Maundy Thursday, April 2.

‘Tenebrae’ a service of light and shadows with Holy Communion, will take place at Saint David’s Methodist Church, Winston Road, the Colcot, Barry, at 7pm.

The Gathering Place Church & community centre will host a Children’s ‘Frozen’ activity with a Easter theme for children aged 4-11, from 10 to noon, on Good Friday, April 3.

The Methodist Churches will be joining with ‘The Churches of Barry’ on the Walk of Witness at noon and Saint David’s Methodist Church will open for prayer and quiet time from 2pm to 3pm.

A joint service of quiet meditation led by The Church in Wales and The Methodist Church, at Tathan Parish Church, Saint Athan, will take place from 2pm to 3pm on Easter Day, Sunday 5th April.

A Sun-Rise Service, by the sea front, Barry Island will take place at Whitmore Bay, Barry Island, on Easter Day, Sunday at 6.30am at

Easter Services at Saint David’s and Cadoxton will take place at 9.45 am, The Gathering Place Church &The Waterfront Church at 10.30 am, Crossway & Saint John at 11 am and all services will include Holy Communion.
