STUDENTS with additional needs, on an independent living skills course, met with Vale MP Alun Cairns at the Cardiff and Vale College campus in Barry.
The students aged between 16 and 22 years old held a discussion on the challenges of entering employment after leaving education courses at the college.
Mr Cairns said: “The students were keen to learn more about what an MP does, and the role that local residents have in raising issues in Westminster. It was interesting to better understand the challenges that pupils with additional needs face when leaving education, and offered my support in helping pupils with their future plans.”
