THERE will be a free coffee and cake information session for parents, grandparents and carers who look after children aged 0-11 years to find out more and to contribute ideas for a local Community Programme aimed at families.

This programme runs in partnership with the Vale Council led Putting Families First and Barry Communities First. It aims to give opportunities to meet other parents and to take part in a range of courses that will support your child’s learning.

There are also a range of activities on offer, such as relaxation, jewellery making and coping with stress. They can also help you plan and decide future goals for you and your family.

This free session takes place at The People Centre, 3 Dunlin Court near Thompson Street on Wednesday, February 4 from 1pm until 3pm.

A crèche facility is available if needed but must be booked in advance.
