MOBILE phone network and operator Vodafone is to take over the former Phones 4U store on Barry’s Holton Road.
Six jobs which were in jeopardy when Phones 4U went into administration, will be retained and the retail unit will re-open as Vodafone Barry on Friday, October 24.
The Barry store, part of Vodafone’s £100m nationwide expansion, is one of the 139 Phones 4U shops the company acquired last month.
The Phones 4U shop in Barry closed its doors to the public on September, 15 this year.
