CLOSED: Phones 4u, Holton Road, Barry (10384040)
HOLTON Road phone retailer Phones 4U has closed its doors after the company went into administration.
The Barry shop, together with the more than 500 other branches, closed to customers on Monday, September 15.
Phones 4U said mobile network EE's decision not to renew its contract – following on from Vodaphone's decision in September – had caused the move.
The company said established mobile contracts taken out through it would not be affected.
Phones ordered and not despatched will be affected.
