A BARRY boozer has temporarily shut its doors and will be returned to its owners on Monday, September 8, before it re-opens again.
Town centre pub O’Briens, on Holton Road, suddenly shut this week, but Punch Taverns said it would be boarded up, as a security measure, while internal work takes place ready for business again in a few weeks.
A Punch Taverns spokesman said: “We can confirm that the pub has ceased trading.
“The site will be secured for a short period whilst essential health and safety work is carried out. Following this we intend to re-open the site with temporary management.”
