Get healthy with Foodwise course

STARTING in September, 16 for eight weeks, Barry Communities First in partnership with Public Health Wales are launching a free weight management group which will run every Tuesday.

In this group you will learn about what foods is included in a balanced diet, how to create and follow a healthy food plan, how to increase your weight loss through physical activity and how to interpret food labels.

This weekly group will meet at 11am-12.30pm at Barry Leisure Centre.

Barry Communities First is a Welsh Government funded anti-poverty programme aimed at improving the Health, Prosperity and Learning of residents in parts of Buttrills, Cadoc, Castleland, Court and Gibbonsdown.
